Story

I have decided to raise money for the Samaritans charity because a close friend of mine Jack volunteers for them and has shown me the the value and importance of the work they do.

Samaritans is a 24-hour service that prevents suicide and supports people with their mental health.

One thing I struggled with in the past was suppressing all my issues because I didn't have anyone to talk to, this kept me stuck in a destructive cycle which led me to contemplate my own life many times.

Thankfully I found a therapist I could talk to and this has had a massive impact on changing my life.

I think most people struggle to talk about their problems and issues with others, so If I can raise some awareness and hopefully get some people to reach out and ask for help, I feel like I have made a positive impact.

Thank you for reading and all donations would be highly appreciated.
