Story
I’m starting 2026 the way I want to go on: raising money for an incredibly important charity close to my heart, and pushing myself to the limits.
Following the fantastic success of our last fundraiser in October 2024, where we raised £1,300 for Brain Tumour Research, I want to build on that and do something even bigger and more meaningful this year.
Starting midnight on Jan 1, 2026, I will run 6 × 20.26 km (one block every 3h24) over 20.26 hours, finishing at 8:26 PM the same day—over 120 km in a single day. It’s a huge challenge, but one I’m taking on to make a real difference.
I’m doing this for Brain Tumour Research. My younger sister faced a benign brain tumour on her pituitary gland, and while she’s thankfully doing well, too many people aren’t so lucky. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, yet research funding remains critically low.
Every donation helps fund vital research that can improve treatments and, one day, find a cure. I’ve set a target of £5,000, but every contribution matters. Thank you for supporting me—and for helping turn a day of madness into hope for people affected by brain tumours.
