On Sunday 13th October. a team of runners made up of staff and supporters of Bury Hospice will take on the challenge of running the Manchester Half Marathon , starting and finishing by Old Trafford.

Bury Hospice over the years have supported friends and family members with care. My first fund raising activity for Bury Hospice started when I was 7 years old, setting up a tuck shop and selling sweets. Since, I've also completed a 10k run but am looking forward to challenging myself further and completing a half marathon, the furthest I've ever ran!

Training has been a struggle to try and fit everything in and I had a 3 week injury which really impacted my training - however, onwards & upwards!
