Mid and North East Essex Mind is the local independent mental health charity for Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon and Tendring. We offer hope and support for good mental health, so that no one feels alone.

We are a ‘local Mind’. Although we are part of the national Mind federation, and can use the ‘Mind’ brand, we are not funded by national Mind. We rely on local funds and donations to provide mental health services across our communities.

We work in partnership with other local Minds, NHS and local health services, as well as key community organisations and service providers, to reduce health inequalities. We do this by enhancing the offering for people impacted by mental health and suicide. We work with our communities so everyone can understand how to take care of their mental health and get the support they need.
