Velo and Blue - Dons Cycle Challenge · 21 April 2025 ·

Story

Jack Gebhard and Alex Heppell are cycling from Plough Lane to Gillingham for the Don’s Cycle Challenge 2025!

The Don's Foundation are a fantastic charity helping people in South West London. Every pound we raise helps them take action against inequality, providing free football for disadvantaged kids, more women and girls’ sessions, and support for teenagers getting back into education or work.

We’re taking on the Don’s Cycle Challenge—a 50-mile ride from AFC Wimbledon’s Cherry Red Records Stadium to Gillingham FC’s Priestfield Stadium. It’s not just about the miles; it’s about the mission.

We're riding to raise funds for the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, a charity that transforms lives through education, sports, and community programmes.

Why we’re doing this:

AFC Wimbledon Foundation goes beyond football—it changes lives.

They work tirelessly to support young people, combat social isolation, and promote inclusivity in sports. By participating in this challenge, we hope to contribute to their incredible work and give back to a community that means so much to us.

Every donation makes an impact:

This cause is close to our hearts, and we need your help to reach our £800 goal. Your support means everything—not just to us, but to the people whose lives will be transformed by these programmes.

Thanks so much
