Jack Clayton is raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK
In memory of Billy Clayton

The National Three Peaks Challenge · 14 June 2025

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

My name is Jack Clayton and I have decided to raise money for The Alzheimer's Research UK Charity by climbing the highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland within 24 hours on the 14th of June 2025. It is called The National Three Peaks Challenge. The mountains are Scafell Pike in England, Snowdon in Wales and Ben Nevis in Scotland.

Why? After a tough, upsetting and long battle with Alzheimer's Dementia my grandad, Billy Clayton sadly passed away on the 7th of December 2024. It is a difficult time right now for me, my family and friends. We will always remember the happy memories and laughs shared together.

So on the 14th of June, myself, Joe and Jakub will be driving up to Scotland the night before with the help of Joe’s dad driving to then start at Ben Nevis.

I want to raise money for The Alzheimer's Research UK Charity to help find a cure and prevent this awful disease from affecting other people's loved ones.

I will be posting my journey on here, so please keep an eye out. I will be going on hikes, wild camps and training in the gym up until the challenge.

Please help by donating what you can to this worthy cause, any donation amount is appreciated.

Thankyou in advance,

Jack Clayton
