Story
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK, a cause that means so much to me and my family.
Muscular dystrophy is a devastating group of conditions that cause muscles to weaken and waste over time. Sadly, my granddad, Jack, and my uncle, Graham, both passed away after bravely battling this disease. Their strength and courage continue to inspire me every day, and I want to honour their memories by doing something that will help others facing the same fight.
By fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK, I’m helping to fund world-class research into effective treatments, and life changing support for the 110,000 people in the UK living with a muscle-wasting condition.
Training for a marathon is no small task, but every step I take will be for my granddad, my uncle, and everyone affected by muscular dystrophy.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to me and make a real difference to so many lives.
Thank you so much for your support — together, we can run towards a future free from muscular dystrophy.
