Story
Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people with stomas and to their families, carers and friends. Colostomy UK also campaigns and acts as advocates for ostomates on the many issues they face going about their daily lives. We want hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all. Our vision is of communities in which everyone is empowered to reach their potential.
31 miles in 31 days to raise money for Colostomy UK.
Jack Dale, age 8, has decided he would like to raise money for a charity close to our hearts and to help raise awareness for people with stoma’s.
Upon himself, he has decided to run a mile each day, around Shotton recreation park, for 31 days.
Jack has chosen to do this event in October, as it is Stoma awareness Day and it recognises people living with a stoma can conquer any challenge that is thrown at them.
This is Jacks very first fundraising event and he can’t wait to get started!
Any small donations would be greatly appreciated by Jack and all of his family.
We would love for people to join him on certain days of his run and encourage him on every step that he takes.
