We are Colostomy UK. Here if you have questions, need support or want to talk to someone who lives with a stoma. Your voice on the bigger issues: advocates for your rights & campaigning to raise awareness of what matters to you; running projects to empower & building communities to support you.

Story

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people with stomas and to their families, carers and friends. Colostomy UK also campaigns and acts as advocates for ostomates on the many issues they face going about their daily lives. We want hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all. Our vision is of communities in which everyone is empowered to reach their potential.

50 mile Triathlon in March 2024

Jack Dale, age 8, has decided he would like to raise more money for a charity close to our hearts and to help raise awareness for people living with stoma’s.

Upon himself, he has decided to challenge his own abilities and complete a 50 mile triathlon which will include: Walking, Running, Swimming and Jacks new hobby of cycling!

Seen as though Jack concurred his last fundrasing activity and helped raise a lot of awareness around people living with a stoma, he would like to do the same again in March but this time even bigger. Hartlepool Football Club have also agreed to support Jack in his fundraising event where he will finish his last 3 miles walking around a stadium full of supporters to Seaton Carew beach (a place that is very close to his heart in memory of his Nana Sue.

Any small donations would be greatly appreciated by Jack and all of his family.

We would love for people to join him on certain days of his triathlon and encourage him on every step that he takes.
