As Mayor or Rhuddlan 2025/26, one of my three chosen charities is Action for Children.

This summer, I’m taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon by night to raise vital funds for Action for Children—a charity that supports vulnerable children and young people across the UK, including right here in Denbighshire.

Action for Children works tirelessly to give every child a safe and happy childhood. From providing emergency support to families in crisis to offering mental health services and help with employment and housing, their work transforms lives. In Denbighshire, they raise money through local fundraising events, community partnerships, and generous donations—ensuring support is available close to home for those who need it most.
