My close friend Pam and I are taking part in The Myton Hospices Snowdon Trek on 28th June to help them raise a total of £75,000!

We have each been set a target of £250 and we greatly appreciate your support in helping us reach this 😁

The Myton Hospices provide dedicated care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, in their inpatient beds and in the community continues to be their primary focus, and they need to raise £11 million this year to do this.

They can't do it without the support of people like me and you!

My story

Back in 2005 I lost my incredible dad to cancer , he was only 59 and is still greatly missed . Although his passing was the most difficult time off our lives, as a family we will be eternally grateful for the support, care and compassion given to him in his last few months. Dad spent 9 weeks in Warwick Myton hospice where he died peacefully with my mum at his side.

My youngest son Thomas was only one when his “Dadda” died so doesn’t remember him but we often talk of how his visits to the Hospice brightened everyone’s day especially when he used to waddle around the corridors in his tiny flashing trainers.

Myton has continued to be a big part of our lives especially my mums who has volunteered at Coventry Myton since it opened. Along with an amazing group of dedicated volunteers she has helped run fetes, Easter raffles and other charity events. She is part of the Myton Choir and we haven’t missed a single “light a life” service in 20 years.
