Story

I’m taking on a skydive to raise money for St John’s Hospice — a challenge I’ve always wanted to do, and now feels like the perfect opportunity to do it for an incredible cause.

St John’s Hospice has touched the lives of many friends and their families over the years, providing care, compassion, and support when it’s needed most. This is my way of paying it forward and helping them continue the amazing work they do in our community.

Every donation, big or small, will make a difference and means so much. Thank you for your support — and wish me luck jumping out of a plane!

St John’s Hospice has been part of the local community for 40 years and provides vital service to patients and families all over our community. Our aim is to ensure that on the journey towards the end of life, we provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time. Our care will always be free to those who need it, but it isn’t cost free. It costs £602 per hour to run the hospice and all our services with only around a quarter of this amount provided by local NHS funding. The remaining three quarters must be raised.
