It’s no secret that Pendleside has a special place in my heart. The love and care that they showed Cheryl and her family helped to ease a terrible burden in so many ways 💞 and the work they do every single day continues to inspire me.

At the back end of 2024, it was me they rescued. I was really struggling to process the loss, and I reached out to them. They connected me with a counsellor and I spent a few weeks receiving some 121 support. It really helped me navigate losing Chez, I’m not naturally a talker so it was a big step for me.

So for the hospice, and in Cheryl’s memory, I will be taking part in this years Summer Solstice Walking Challenge. Between the hours of 4.39am and 9.41pm on the 19th June you’ll find me at Barden Athletics track 😳

I never see that time of morning unless I’m going on holiday, so that alone should be fun 😂

It’s a massive challenge (honestly thinking I’ve lost the plot) As always, donations large or small are all greatly appreciated. But also appreciated (and essential!) on the day will be moral support, people can come and join me throughout the day on my laps, keep me motivated and join in the fun. So I best get myself moving!

Will definitely be channeling my inner Chez to make it to the end 🫶🏻🐠💪🏻🤞🏻
