Story
This year I’m taking on a running challenge to raise money for the BRDC Motor Sport Charity, supporting mental health and wellbeing within the motorsport community.
As part of the challenge, I’ll be running to five circuits on the British GT Championship calendar, covering ultra-distance routes ranging from around 60km up to 186km, often over multiple days and in the lead up to each race weekend.
Motorsport can be an incredibly demanding and high-pressure environment, not just for drivers but for everyone working behind the scenes across the paddock. Mechanics, engineers, team members and support staff all play a vital role in the sport, and their wellbeing is just as important.
The aim of this challenge is to help expand the charity’s support so it can reach not only BRDC members, but also the wider motorsport community across the paddock.
Every donation will help the BRDC Motor Sport Charity continue providing vital support to people in motorsport who may be facing mental health challenges.
If you’re able to contribute, your support would be hugely appreciated and will help make a real difference.
Thank you for supporting the challenge.
