We are raising funds to pay for medical research to find a cure for astrocytoma brain tumours, one of the biggest killers of children and young people in the UK today.

On Sunday 26th October 2025, at The Inspired Hub, Ashley Road, Hampton, TW12 2JA, we are staging a ten-hour bench press marathon. From 12noon to 10pm between 10 and 20 athletes of both genders will be taking turns to keep a loaded Olympic bar in constant motion. The number of presses will be counted and the total weight added up at the end of the day. We hope to lift 200,000 kilogrammes between us, and raise over £3,000 in donations.
