Story
Some of the JJST team will be taking part in our annual memory walk on Sunday 19th July.
Starting at Jack’s bench in the Manor Barn Gardens, the team will walk down to the seafront, where they will then head to the right.
Some of the team will be doing the 5km route, turning around at the South Cliff toilets, while others will carry on to the Cooden Beach Hotel and will then turn back, to do the 10km route.
Any donations will be very gratefully received, and will help to give us all that boost 😊
The Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust was created in memory of our son Jack who was diagnosed on the 7th August 2017 with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma.
His treatment included 10 rounds of chemotherapy, high dose chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, radiotherapy. Sadly, before he started the immunotherapy, he developed a secondary tumour which he began a new course of chemotherapy for. He fought so bravely but the treatment did not work and there was nothing more that could be done.
Jack gained his angel wings on Saturday 21st July 2018 just 10 days before his 5th birthday.
We all felt very strongly that this would not be the end and vowed to carry on a legacy for Jack to keep his name and memory alive.
And so came the 'Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust'.
The Trust, supported by The Bradley Lowery Foundation, raises funds to help create memories for children with cancer and other life threatening/limiting conditions and their families in different ways, whether in or out of hospital.
