Story
Employees from Jackson Civil Engineering are undertaking the daunting Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 2nd of August 2025 to raise funds for The Bumblebee's Children's Charity, based in Ipswich.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 Miles (38.6km) round trip route that includes 1585m (5200ft) of elevation. The challenge part? Completing it in under 12hrs.
The challenge takes in the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres)
Our chosen charity, Bumblebee's, specialise in providing support to families with babies and/or children with physical difficulties.
We have set a target of £2,000 which would go a long way to helping the Charity.
As well as the walk, we will also be holding a raffle and organising some in-office games, details of which are to follow.
We are also holding our 5-a-side Football Tournament at Goals again, after the success of last years competition.
If you would like to offer anything for the raffle, or to indeed buy some raffle tickets, please contact Dale on dmandell@jackson-civils.co.uk
