Story

Hello everyone!

This summer I will be taking on the challenge of a 6-day hike up the Salkantay route to the Lost City of Machu Picchu in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF) —an organisation I've worked with and believe in.

Having been in neurosurgery wards, I've seen firsthand the devastating impact of meningitis on individuals and families.

Meningitis is an infection affecting the outer layers of the brain. Patients suffer from extreme headaches, fevers, and severe neck stiffness, making even the slightest movement very painful. MRF provides support to those affected while funding scientific research aimed at preventing and treating this illness.

Last year, I successfully raised over £900 for Amnesty UK through an endurance challenge (12km/200 push-ups every day for 7 days) and summiting the High Atlas Mountains. This year, my goal is to again raise £900. Please help me spread the word and consider donating to this cause close to my heart. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thank you for your support!
