Hatzola HBS is an emergency response service for health emergencies across Southgate, Cockfosters, Hadley Wood and Barnet. Staffed by local trained volunteers we aim to respond to calls for assistance within minutes. Our aims are to reduce suffering and save lives. We work alongside the local NHS hospitals and other emergency services to ensure faster responses that NHS services may be able to provide. Although our volunteers are mainly Jewish we will respond to anyone in need within the local area. Hatzola was founded in 1965 and now operates in 15 countries. Our new Hatzola HBS service benefits from over 50 years of experience. We are funded solely by charitable donations and rely on the local community to support us.

Story

My name is Jacky and having seen two friends pass away because an ambulance couldn’t come to them I realised something had to be done. What better way than to set up our own ambulance service working alongside the local NHS hospitals and other emergency services. Hatzola HBS will operate across parts of Barnet, Southgate, Hadley Wood and just like all the other Hatzolas operating in 15 countries around the world we aim to respond to emergencies in just minutes alleviating the pressure on the London Ambulance service. Our new Hatzola HBS will benefit from over 50 years of Hatzola experiences. Although all our volunteers are Jewish they will respond to anyone in need within the local area. To Hatzola HBS nothing could be more important than saving a life or just responding to someone who is in need of urgent medical help .

Our Hatzola HBS charity is called Bargatewood Trust.

We are funded solely by charitable organisations and rely on the local communities to support us. Our volunteers will all work tirelessly 24/7 and I hope you will support them

In their incredible and selfless work. All the monies raised will go entirely to train more volunteers and buy all the necessary equipment that is needed every day of the year to reduce suffering and save lives
