Sarcoidosis is a rare disease that affects countless individuals and families, yet it remains shrouded in mystery due to a lack of information and support. At SarcoidosisUK, we are dedicated to changing this narrative. Our mission is clear: we strive to provide vital information, offer unwavering support, raise awareness, and fund essential research aimed at finding a cure.

In July of 2020 I was diagnosed with lung and kidney sarcoidosis. I went from being fit healthy and active to bed bound and dependant on my doctors nurses and family to get around. My life was flipped upside down and needed a huge amount of support from getting dressed to going to the toilet.

5 years onwards and I'm still fighting and not letting it beat me, that is why I have decided to run for my charity.
