Story

Hi all,

Jacob here (aka seahorse).

As many of you know, I am very passionate about open water swimming. This September I have signed up for two marathon swims 6 days apart.

Two events: the Dart10k and Dock2Dock 10km! 2x 10km = 20km in 6 days.

One down , one to go!

I’m raising money for an important charity called Pennine domestic abuse partnership (PDAP).

My inspiration for choosing this charity is my incredible mother who has dedicated her career to supporting people in need.

PDAP are a refuge for vulnerable families fleeing domestic abuse. They are based in Yorkshire but they take referrals for their refuge spaces from all over the UK.

Their refuge is a safe place where women and children can heal and plan for a safe new beginning

As a small local charity, all money goes directly to them and makes a huge difference for PDAP.

Thank you for helping me to help them.

Jacob
