Earlier this year I had the privilege of working with one incredible family.

Emma, Phil, Louie and Freddie.

The youngest, Freddie, had a very difficult start in life but thanks to the incredible gesture of a complete stranger he and his family can now live their lives to their fullest.

Having seen how much organ donation can help save lives, I've decided that I'll be running the Yorkshire marathon for the Leeds Children's Transplant Team. I hope that by doing this it'll raise awareness around organ donation and hopefully help save more lives in the future.

I've never run a marathon in my life. I've no idea how I'll get through it but your donations will certainly help me get over that line!

The British Transplant Games are an annual sporting event celebrating transplant patients and donor families

The Games will be held in Sheffield in 2026 and Leeds Children's Transplant Team needs your help to attend this inspirational event.

The team is an inspiring group of 40+ children and young people, aged from 2 - 18, who have been the recipients of organ and bone marrow transplantation who compete at the annual event. After years of illness and overcoming hurdles in life, it is fantastic to see their pride in taking part in competitive sporting events, social sporting events and celebrating their gift of life and their donors. Could you make a donation to support the team's attendance at the event, helping to fund things like registration fees, accommodation, transport and kit?
