When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. I’m running to raise awareness as my little brother in law had a stroke and is currently going through rehab, but it is doesn’t just affect them, it’s a chain reaction to the whole family and so I’m raising money and awareness to support other families and people who go through this.
