Goodness, where to begin….well, firstly a little personal, long story cut short though; several years ago I started to suffer with knee pain, after persisting for some time I got it checked out and unfortunately not a quick fix and something I was born with. Since then I set myself a personal goal to walk Ben Nevis which looked unlikely! This year, I am determined it won’t defeat me! With the support from my husband, Philip Allen and my fabulous niece and her partner; Jessica Errington and Jordan Riding, I will do it!!! This goal is now for the 4 of us to achieve and no doubt we can do it 💪 Roll on September the 27th as the date is set!

As most my close family and friends know, my passion is the environment and animals. We rescued two furry girls 17 years ago after a pretty awful start and gave them the lives they deserved. Since then, we support as many animal charities as possible. Due to that, we can’t think of a better charity than willowsway cat rescue.

They rescue strays and rehabilitate them aiming to re-home. Unfortunately from time to time due to illness this isn’t always possible.

One of their big drives is to support with feral colonies to neuter to help with the homeless population. Due to this, their vet bill can be in excess of £3000 a month! In addition to this, they have hundreds of cats to feed each month whilst trying to re home.
