Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son Sean worked as a Chef at The Olive Tree, first as a volunteer and then as one of the paid staff for the last few years. This Charity does so much to support those with mental and other health issues and my boy had a few of those. The Olive is a rock and a place of solace for so many and for Sean it was his happy and safe place and he was proud of his contribution as probably the best breakfast cook in Swindon and roundabout. Seans friends and collegues at the Olive Tree gave Sean status and friendship and he gave back love, wit, fun and occasionally grumpiness and fabulous eggs!

Sean died on December 29th at GWH after a very difficult couple years and six weeks in hospital struggling with lung disease.

My son made so many friends in Swindon and Highworth -- from the early days of Goth to the more recent quieter years. Some of his friends have suggested a tribute page and I think he would be so happy and proud to continue to make a difference to the Olive. Please help him to make a lasting difference for those like him <3
