Run Sandringham 24 · 10 August 2024

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I will be completing an ultra marathon of 50km, on 10th August in memory of my amazing mum, Jean, who sadly passed away on the 4th March this year, after having her last stroke.

Mum had a number of strokes over the last few years which slowly robbed us of the strong, independent, loving woman that she was.

I want to raise as much money as I can to help fund more research into preventing strokes, increasing awareness of the risk factors, and finding effective treatments for those who have had a stroke.

If I can help just one person or one family it will be worth it.

Thank you for your support ❤️
