For a number of years now, I have wanted to support the work of these three charities and I have seen first hand the amazing work that they do. Hear Together supports adults and children with hearing loss to gain confidence, resilience and positive wellbeing in regard to their deafness as well as educating the general public about the impacts of deafness. It is a small local charity to the East Midlands, but makes an amazing difference to the lives of those it works with. It can not continue without fundraising support.
Bulwell Forest Garden is another very small charity that provides free horticultural therapy and Forest School to improve the lives of the residents of Bulwell, a very deprived area of Nottingham that has seen mental health distress with both the pandemic and cost of living crisis. This charity is at continual threat of closure due to funding cuts, which means that the people it serves may lose this one place of hope in their lives.
The third charity is Cancer Research, whilst being a national charity, it remains vitally important in its work to find better treatments and cures for cancer which affects 1 in 2 of us, in some form or other, that's our mum's, dad's, brother's and sisters. For myself, I want to see a cure for Breast Cancer so that other's do not have to live without their mum like our family do, after the death of my mum in 2003.
Please support me in using my hair that has been growing for over 10 years to support the work of these wonderful charities both small and big and the amazing work that they do. Thank you
