Team: Team fundraising for The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity

Climbing snowdonia · 19 September 2026

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.

Story

On 19 September 2026, PAHT staff will come together for PAHT Summit for Memories 2026 – Snowdonia / Yr Wyddfa Trek, a staff-led fundraising challenge in support of The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity’s Dementia Care Fund.

This challenge is more than a trek; it is a shared commitment to make a meaningful difference for people living with dementia and their families. Through the Dementia Care Fund, we hope to support improvements in comfort, meaningful activities, staff education and the overall experience of dementia care at PAHT.

Our team is self-funding travel and accommodation so that our fundraising can focus on supporting dementia care within the hospital. We are aiming to raise £1,000, and every contribution will help us turn each step on the mountain into meaningful support for our patients and families.

Please donate if you can and help us make every memory matter. Together, we can climb with purpose and make a difference for people affected by dementia.
