Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am excited to share that I'm running in the London Marathon on April 27, 2025, to raise funds for Cure CLCN4.

Cure CLCN4 is a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by a rare genetic condition caused by variations in the CLCN4 gene. This condition can lead to intellectual and physical disabilities and impairments including speech and language difficulties, epilepsy, microcephaly and movement disorders.

Cure CLCN4 is at the forefront of research aimed at better understanding this condition to identify effective new treatments. There is significant potential for breakthroughs in this emerging field, and with your support, we can make a real difference to the lives of those impacted. The charity plays a crucial role in raising awareness among medical professionals to improve diagnosis rates. It also provides vital support for families navigating these challenges.

This cause is close to my heart as it was established by friends whose young daughter has a CLCN4-related condition.

Together, we can bring hope and change to many lives. I am hoping to raise £1000 for Cure CLCN4, and every donation counts! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure; your details are safe with them as they will never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your contribution goes directly to the charity—making it the most efficient way to support this vital work. Thank you for considering joining me on this journey!
