My family have been devastated by this disease. My dear uncle Alan passed away March 2024 and my beautiful mam has been living with this disease for 20yrs and is steadily declining. Since writing this my dear mam passed away Oct 20th and I am heartbroken. The London Marathon is for you mam!

I will run the Great North Run and my first full marathon thinking about them every step of the way. It’s going to be tough and I’m not looking forward to training through the winter months, but I am determined and will try to put a smile on my face as I do it. Please donate and make the pain in my knee worthwhile.
