Jacqueline & Steven's Skydive for Heads On

We're thrilled to be able to raise money for a great charity that supports Mental Health. 💟 Jacqueline has worked in mental health for 18 years and is just as passionate about it now as she was when she started.
There has been so much awareness raised in recent years by how common mental health problems are and we know this has been exacerbated by the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis. Unfortunately, mental health care is severely underfunded. The Heads On Charity run by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust aims to bridge some of that gap. They have some great projects for service users and staff such as the 'One Step at a Time Run Club' and also an art club called 'Make your Mark'.
We are extremely passionate about spreading the word that physical activity is a great way to improve mental health. Heads On were instrumental in getting an all weathers pitch put in on the medium secure forensic ward at the Hellingly Centre for in-patients who wouldn't otherwise be able to access outdoor sporting activities. During the pandemic, Heads On sent boredom packs to the inpatient wards and also had a hardship fund which benefitted more than 70 people.
Together, we've completed a Triathlon, we've cycled London to Brighton (and to Eastbourne and to Worthing), we've done Skydiving in a wind tunnel (absolute naturals both of us 😆), we've done a high ropes course (petrifying but exhilarating) and we've abseiled over the London O2. So the next obvious thing has to be Skydiving out of a plane! It's on everyone's bucket list, surely? 🤔
We would be so grateful if you could support us on our fundraising quest - any amount will be a massive help. Thanks and wish us luck.🤞 🪂🛩
