Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

My Uncle John, fondly referred to in our family as 'pops' has been living with Parkinson's for over 15 years. He turns 80 this years as does my aunt, Carol. They will also have been married for 60 years. Parkinson's has changed the course of their lives. This year, my husband and I (along with family members, friends and some fabulous strangers) have decided to hold a community fun day fundraiser to try and raise as much money as we can for Parkinson's UK to show my Uncle just how much we all love him and how much he impacts us all every day! We want to honour his courage, tenacity and his full heart. Parkinson's UK work hard to educate and support and need funds to aid their research and the support they are able to provide to others living with Parkinson's. Please give if you can, however small, it can make the world of difference.
