Story
Dog-loving cousins Jacqui Tingle-Fraser & Julie Bronson are taking a leap of faith—literally! On September 12, 2025, they will be jumping out of a plane from 13,000 feet to raise funds for Birch Hill Dog Rescue's ‘Operation Sunrise’ project. This initiative aims to rebuild a 30-year-old kennel block that is in desperate need of an upgrade. Birch Hill is a fantastic local rescue charity that never gives up on a dog, often taking in those that other rescues turn down. They operate with a non-destructive policy and shower all the dogs in their care with love and compassion.
The courageous cousins (who both may also be suffering from a mid-life crisis!) will undertake tandem skydives at Hinton Skydiving Centre in Brackley. While they may not be fans of heights, their determination to support this cause is unwavering! They’ll experience the thrill of freefalling at 120 mph, covering 1,000 feet in just five seconds! At 5,000 feet, their instructor will deploy the parachute, allowing them to enjoy four minutes of breathtaking views before landing safely.
The jumps have been fully funded by the cousins themselves so that every penny raised through sponsorship goes directly to Birch Hill Dog Rescue. They are aiming to raise £1,500 to help make this vital project a reality. Your support can make all the difference—please consider donating today and help give these deserving dogs the home they need!
