My Story
My name is Jade, and in November 2026 I’ll be standing at the foot of the Indian Himalayas, about to begin an 11‑day trek that will test every part of me—my strength, my resilience, and my belief in what one person can do to help another.
This journey didn’t start with booking a flight or buying hiking boots. It started years ago, with moments that stayed with me: seeing people sleeping in doorways on freezing nights, watching lives unravel through no fault of their own, and realising how fragile the line is between having a home and losing one. Homelessness isn’t just a statistic to me—it’s something I’ve witnessed up close, something that has shaped the way I see the world and the responsibility we all share in it.
That’s why I’m raising money for Crisis, a charity dedicated to ending homelessness for good. Their work gives people not just shelter, but dignity, stability, and the chance to rebuild. And that’s worth every step, every blister, every mile of this trek.
Working at Lloyds Banking Group has shown me how powerful collective action can be. Now I’m asking for a little of that power from you. My goal is to raise at least £4,000, and every donation—no matter the size—helps someone take a step toward safety, hope, and a future they deserve.
This trek is my way of saying: I see you. You matter. And we can do better.
If you’re able to support me, thank you. If you can share my page or cheer me on, thank you. Together, we can help Crisis bring more people home.
