This year, the team at Croxdale Motor Group are raising money for families affected by dementia, inspired by one very special woman: Gill, the mum of our Vehicle Admin Manager, Mel.

At just 66 years old, Gill is living with early-onset dementia. But while the diagnosis has brought change, it hasn’t dimmed the warmth, love, or light she brings into the world.

Gill isn’t just loved by her family, she’s adored by everyone who knows her. She’s one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever meet. Always the first to offer help, always the last to complain. She lights up every room she walks into, with a smile that stays with you long after she’s gone.

She loves to dance, and when she does, it’s impossible not to join in. Her energy is infectious, her laughter unforgettable. But more than anything, Gill lives for her grandchildren. Watching her with them, laughing, playing, being their biggest fan, shows the depth of her love and the beauty of who she is.

That’s why we’re supporting Dementia UK, a charity providing life-changing support for families just like Mel’s through their incredible Admiral Nurses. These dementia specialists offer expert advice and compassionate care to those affected by the condition, making a difference when it’s needed most.
