Story
From struggling to catch a bus to now preparing to run 13.1 miles—it’s been quite the journey, and we still have a few weeks left to go! It’s amazing to think about how far we’ve come, both physically and emotionally. This challenge has not only pushed me beyond my limits, but it’s also brought to light the incredible work of St. Helena, a local charity that holds a special place in the hearts of many in our community.
St. Helena is more than just a charity; it’s a lifeline for so many families, providing care and support during some of the most difficult times in life. While I wish that the services they provide weren’t necessary, the reality is they are, and for that, I am deeply grateful. The team at St. Helena goes above and beyond to support families facing pain, loss, and uncertainty, and I know countless people whose lives have been made a little easier, a little more bearable, thanks to their compassion and dedication.
As I continue on this journey towards the finish line, it’s a reminder that every step I take is for something far greater than just me. It’s for the families who rely on St. Helena’s support, and for the countless lives they touch every day. I’m proud to be a part of this, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause.
