Story
In 2019 my life changed forever after I received my bone cancer diagnosis and got told I would need an amputation in order to survive, something at 19 years old I never thought I’d hear, when I had my leg amputated everything felt impossible nothing was achievable anymore. 6 years on I am the strongest, fittest and happiest I’ve ever been and it’s time to help people like me facing the same diagnosis by funding research into new treatments so more people can live life as fully as I have been able to :)
Like me Bone cancer brings heartbreak and devastation to hundreds each year. Too often, patients reach the end of current treatment options with no further hope.
While other major cancer charities often overlook bone cancer, the Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading UK charity funding research into this brutal disease – thanks to the generosity of its supporters.
With continued investment, they’ll find new treatments and, one day, a cure for all. Until then, they’re here for everyone affected, offering support, trusted information, and hope.
