We’re reaching out to share the story of our incredible and brave dad, Steve. In October 2023, our world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). For those who may not be familiar, MND is a progressive condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness, loss of mobility, and eventually, difficulties with speech, swallowing, and breathing.

Although there is currently no cure for MND, we are filled with huge hope as new drugs are on the horizon, with one potentially available for trial next year. This is why we are committed to raising awareness and funds to support ongoing research efforts, helping to bring us closer to finding a cure for this devastating disease.

Gem and I, along with our amazing hubbys will be taking on the inflatable 5k challenge on the 5th October to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We are committed to do everything we possibly can for our Superhero dad and for this incredible charity whose work and support for MND sufferers is relentless.

Anything you can donate will be hugely appreciated and will go a long way into eventually finding a cure which we hope and pray for.
