Jade's fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Society

London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·
I will be running my first ever marathon, the London Marathon, on the 21st April 2024 to support the MS Society in memory of my Mum.
My Mum battled with MS for 10 years before I lost her aged 16. Having grown up seeing how it affected her and my family, and now working as a Physiotherapist, it is important for me to support the incredible work that the MS Society does. I want to do this challenge for my wonderful Mum, for my family and for everyone affected by MS.
More than 130,000 people live with MS in the UK, my Uncle/mum's brother being one of them. MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a wide range of symptoms which can include sight loss, incontinence, fatigue and mobility problems. No-one with MS can be sure when or how it will affect them next.
The MS Society fund vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. They also provide a helpline service, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. They believe that together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
Let's stop MS! Any donations, big or small, will be hugely appreciated to support their phenomenal work. Thank you for taking the time to read this :)
