Last year, my family received the heartbreaking news that my dad had been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and unfortunately there is no treatment or cure.

That’s why, on Sunday 12th October, I’ll be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London to raise money for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK provides specialist support for families affected by all forms of dementia through their Admiral Nurses, and they fund research to improve care and work toward better treatment. Every pound I raise will help them continue their vital work — and support families like mine.
