Jaguar Land Rover's 3 Peaks Challenge

Simon Downton is raising money for The Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) Foundation UK CIO

Jaguar Land Rover's 3 Peaks Challenge

We are the SMS Foundation UK, a small charity that supports families living with SMS in the UK. As well as helping families that live with the syndrome we also work with and support a variety of professionals who treat, educate, and care for people with SMS.

Story

A team from Jaguar Land Rover will be completing the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, tackling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, to raise funds for the Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) Foundation UK.

The SMS Foundation UK is a small UK based charity supporting families and individuals living with SMS, a rare genetic disorder. The charity is here to ensure every person with SMS has a fulfilling life within a supportive and understanding community.

The charity aims to be the first point of contact for those seeking information and support. Nobody should ever feel isolated or alone. The SMS Foundation UK values every person affected by this genetic disorder and shall empower them to reach their full potential as respected members of society.

The team taking part are Simon Downton, Rob Doyle, Paul Rose, Tom Fagg, Allan Walsh, Dave Byrne, Matt Craig, and Owen Pontin. They are being supported by a team of drivers including Stuart Kennedy, Andy Hind and Gav Clarke.
