In 2021 we bought a £600 Jaguar in order to participate in a banger rally across the Lake District. A Jag in British racing green meant we had to dress it in the iconic Jaguar XJ220C Le Mans livery.

We loved our 20+ year old (“Le Mans”) Jag so much that we decided to attempt the Mountain Summit Rally ‘24. We set off from Germany on 1st June 2024 and drove over 1,500 km of high alpine roads through 6 countries, over 5 days, finishing in Croatia before the long journey back to blighty! and.....................WE MADE IT!!

Back from the Mountain Summit Rally we really couldn't part with our mighty Jag. We have since taken part in a couple of short rallies, the Machrun in Wales and Cornball 25 in Cornwall but a longer road trip is calling!........

So, in March 2026 we are taking on the famous North Coast 500 in the Highlands of Scotland with Rustbox Rallies! Will our battered Jag make it?

Our aim is to raise much needed funds for Dementia UK. This is a charity close to our hearts as various close family members are greatly affected by dementia. Dementia UK are a specialist dementia nursing charity that provides free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia. Any rally entries or shows attended are completely funded by ourselves so all of your donations will go straight to Dementia UK.
