I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April.

In June 2022 my little boy Alfie was born 3 months early weighing 2 pounds 13oz.

We are so lucky that he is healthy, but that would not be the case if it wasn’t for the amazing work of the neonatal staff that saved his life.

Bliss supports the families of babies in neonatal care and works with health professionals to provide training and improve care for babies. It campaigns for improved hospital resources and is actively involved in neonatal research.

1 in every 7 babies born in the UK will need specialist care.
