Story
On the first weekend of August, myself and a few lovely friends will be crossing Snowdonia National Park for the amazing folks over at the Clocktower Sanctuary.
It's a 3 day journey covering a total distance of 125km, via a pair a boots, a bike, and a kayak. Even for a figure of fitness like me, it's no small feat.
The team over at the Clocktower Sanctuary do amazing work with young people who find themselves homeless and struggle to find a way out. I hope that anyone who finds themselves falling on hard times have access to the resources they need to help them get back on their feet.
Go on, chuck us a few quid.
“Homelessness is a frightening, downward spiral that can just suck you up. Without The Sanctuary I wouldn’t be in the position I am now. I’ve got my own place and a job.” Will, client, 25 years old
No young person chooses to be homeless. The Clock Tower Sanctuary provides a stable space where young people in crisis feel safe and get the practical and emotional support they need to move into housing, education and training. CTS is open 5 days a week and in 2022, CTS provided 4,834 hot meals and hosted 2,915 unique visits to young people with nowhere else to turn.
By donating to my fundraiser, you'll be directly supporting young people in Brighton & Hove to move from Crisis to Stability.
