Story
About me:
In April of 2025, and out of nowhere, my amazing mum Sara was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour. Since then she's woken up every single day with heroic positivity and resilience, determined to fight this horrible disease with everything she has. She's just the best.
I'm not much of a runner, and never really thought I'd run a marathon. I've always hated running, but I hate brain tumours more and I'm determined to do this because my mum is an inspiration to me, and I want to raise as much money as possible, so hopefully one day we can find a cure, and others don't have to go through what she's going through.
For mum.
About Brain Tumour Research:
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
