Jake's fundraiser for Blood Cancer UK

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Some of you may have seen that I recently dragged my girlfriend, Jess, around the Battersea Park Half Marathon. This was so far outside her comfort zone that I thought it would only be fair to step outside my own comfort zone and push myself both physically and mentally. Taking part in the London Marathon has always been on my bucket list of experiences, so to be able to run in next years event and raise money and awareness for this amazing chairty is a dream come true.
Both Jess’s and my own family have been affected directly by blood cancer on more than one occasion, so it is something that is extremely close to our hearts. I am determined and dedicated to do everything possible to raise as much money and awareness for this incredible charity.
Ultimately, fulfilling my goals and aspirations for this amazing charity will not be possible without all of you that help support, donate and share my story, so I am extremely grateful for your support and I hope I do you all proud!
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
