Jake's fundraiser for Beit Halochem UK

Jake Sokel is raising money for Beit Halochem UK

10 Mile run

Beit Halochem UK is devoted to raising money for the Beit Halochem Rehabilitation Centres in Israel that provide facilities and lifelong support to disabled veterans and victims of terror. Another objective is to increase awareness in the UK community about the work of the Centres in Israel.

Story

As part of my Bar Mitzvah, I am raising money for Beit Halochem, an incredible charity dedicated to providing lifelong rehabilitation and support for Israel’s wounded veterans and civilian victims of terror.

BH UK raises funds and awareness for the four Beit Halochem rehabilitation centres in Israel. These state-of-the-art facilities provide vital physical, psychological, and occupational care, helping injured soldiers rebuild their lives with dignity and strength. Every gift to Beit Halochem UK is a lifeline for Israel’s wounded veterans and civilian victims of terror.

During my recent visit to Israel, I had the opportunity to visit one of the Beit Halochem centres and meet some of the veterans. Hearing their stories and seeing the impact of the charity firsthand made me realise just how important and valuable this work is.

To raise money, I am challenging myself to complete a 10-mile run from where I play football at Maccabi London Lions to where I watch football at Arsenal.

Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help Beit Halochem continue their incredible work supporting wounded soldiers and victims of terror. Thank you so much for your support.
