Running London Marathon 2026 for My Nan & Deaf Blind UK

Jake Wright is raising money for Deafblind UK

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

Deafblind UK runners take to the famous streets of the capital in the world's greatest 26.2-mile challenge supporting people living with deafblindness across the UK.

Story

Bonjour and big up you lovely people who’ve decided to donate to such a wonderful cause.

Right — I’m running the London Marathon 2026 to raise money for Deafblind UK, inspired by my nan and doing it for my nan.

Over the years I’ve watched my nan’s hearing get worse, and I’ve seen how isolating it is when you’re there… but not really part of it. That’s why I’m doing something that actually makes a difference — for her, and for others living with sight and hearing loss.

And the numbers tell you why this all matters — over 450,000 people in the UK are affected by deafblindness.

So, your contribution, no matter the size, can make a BIG impact.

Once again, thank you SO much for backing this - you're all champions... even without the months of training ;)
