Story
Upon registering for this event I was asked the question, why Loros? And my answer was simple … I could raise donations for the rest of my life, raising billions of pounds but it would never be enough to say thankyou. Nothing in this world can. It’s nearly a year since my dad chose to take his last breath at Loros, not a day goes by where I don’t think how lucky he, my family and I are that Loros was available to us… so please help me in trying to say Thankyou by donating what you can
I am taking part in the Run Leicester Festival for LOROS Hospice on Sunday 11th October 2026. Please dig deep and help support terminally ill patients and their families at a time when they need it most.
LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
