Why I'm running the Great Eastern Run for Thirst.

I've been at Thirst for 11 years. In that time I've watched young people walk through our doors looking for somewhere to belong and a home from home.

So when we launched Double the Love for Thirst, I wanted to do more than ask other people to give. On Sunday 11th October, I'll be running the Great Eastern Run half marathon, all 13.1 miles, and I'm asking you to back me. I'm not a natural runner, and my training so far has mostly been late night runs, wishing I was home watching football.

Here's why it matters right now: every pound you give will be doubled! So if you sponsor me £10, Thirst receives £20. If you give £50, that's £100 for local young people.

Your donation will go towards helping the young people of Bishop's Stortford.
